At Wolf, we employ Compass, a web-based communal workspace that was developed using Microsoft Office SharePoint Server web access software. We include this service in all our projects as a method of communication and organization. This service allows for a controlled and secure workspace to communicate project schedule, submittals and transmittals posted, version controlled progress drawings, project progress photos and other critical information regarding the project and the project’s progress. We feel that the ability to access up-to-date information from anywhere in the world, through a user-friendly format, is a valuable service for our clientele, consultants and subcontractors.

Description:
The Wolf Construction, Inc. Compass Web Access site (Microsoft SharePoint) was custom designed in 2008 to meet the increasing needs for digital information acquisition and distribution. The Wolf Compass site was established to provide the project owner, design team, contractor and subcontractor a communal workspace via a secure website to easily access, exchange and store project data. The ability to have a place to coordinate projects from conception to completion has made the Wolf Compass site a valuable tool for facilitating team collaboration and productivity. Access to this site is included with all Wolf Construction, Inc. projects.
The Wolf Construction, Inc. Compass website is accessed via http://compass.wolfks.com. With pre-arranged security approval, the home page appears with option tabs for easy navigation.

For example, if the customer wants to view the job progress photos, he/she can do so by selecting “Progress Photos” under the Field Activity category.
