Associate Project Manager

Position Description – Associate Project Manager

Position mission:

Associate Project managers will work alongside Project Managers, to plan and execute projects. They will be expected to develop necessary skills and knowledge to work alone with oversight by Project manager or Operations manager.

Major Duties:

  • Develop accurate cost estimates.
  • Work with the finance department on project setup and buyout.
  • Work with resource and logistics for project planning and scheduling.
  • Daily project coordination.
  • Procure permits and coordinate inspections.
  • Material procurement and subcontracts.
  • Maintain a positive jobsite attitude with focus on safety and quality assurance.
  • Participate in project issue management.
  • Update progress reporting and punch list items.
  • Stay up to date with change orders and cost projections.
  • Review all project AP and approve.
  • Review invoices and all project billings.
  • Finalize turnover packages and project closeout. 


Job Type: Full-time – In person

Pay: $55,000.00 - $75,000.00 per year Salary

Wages are based on experience.

Project Manager

Project managers are responsible for multiple construction projects at a time. They are responsible for the coordination of all parties involved in the project from start to finish. This includes architects, consultants, contractors, sub-contractors, labor, etc. As well as ensuring that all contraction activities progress according to the project schedule while maintaining accurate records and managing the project budget.

Major Duties:

  • Develop relationships with customer representatives.
  • Develop accurate cost estimates and RFP responses.
  • Work with the finance department on project setup and buyout.
  • Work with resource and logistics for project planning and scheduling.
  • Daily project coordination.
  • Procure permits coordinate inspections.
  • Material procurement and subcontracts.
  • Maintain a positive jobsite attitude with focus on safety and quality assurance.
  • Participate in project issue management.
  • Update progress reporting and punch list items.
  • Stay up to date with change orders and cost projections.
  • Review all project AP and approve.
  • Review invoices and all project billings.
  • Finalize turnover packages and project closeout.

Pay: $65,000.00 - $95,000.00 per year Salary

Operator

  • Adhere to all company policies, procedures, and OSHA regulations creating a safe working environment.
  • Follow instructions provided by a Foreman with daily tasks and expectations for each specific project or job site.
  • Safely operate compact equipment as well as heavy equipment such as excavators, dozers, loaders, etc.
  • Perform daily inspections & maintenance on equipment.
  • Setup and use GPS equipment and laser levels to accurately measure grade.
  • Read, interpret, and follow plans, specifications, and other contract documents.
  • Demonstrate a continuous effort to improve operations, streamline work processes, and work cooperatively and jointly to provide a quality customer service.

Millwright

  • Adhere to all company policies, procedures, and OSHA regulations creating a safe working environment.
  • Follow instructions provided by a Foreman with daily tasks and expectations for each specific project or job site.
  • Safely work around heavy equipment such as forklifts, cranes, etc.
  • Safely operate manlifts to perform tasks at various heights.
  • Safely perform rigging and signaling when picking items.
  • Inspect, maintain, and operate hand tools, power tools, and other various equipment.
  • Operate various construction instruments to achieve proper layout, elevation, and alignment.
  • Work as a team member placing grout, equipment setting, balancing rotary items, installing conveyor equipment, alignment, performing calibrations, etc.
  • Read, interpret, and follow plans, specifications, and other contract documents.
  • Problem solve and provide solutions to common jobsite issues.
  • Communicate well with others on the jobsite both verbally and using hand signals.
  • Demonstrate a continuous effort to improve operations, streamline work processes, and work cooperatively and jointly to provide a quality customer service.

Carpenter - Formwork/ Concrete

  • Follow instructions provided by a Foreman with daily tasks and expectations for each specific project or job site.
  • Safely work around heavy equipment such as excavators, dozers, loaders, cranes, etc.
  • Safely operate manlifts to perform tasks at various heights.
  • Safely perform rigging and signaling when picking items.
  • Inspect, maintain, and operate hand tools, power tools, and other various equipment.
  • Operate various construction instruments to achieve proper layout and elevation.
  • Build and/or erect formwork and falsework for walls, columns, decking, stairs, etc.
  • Work as a team member placing concrete, driving piling, installing light gauge steel framing, etc.
  • Read, interpret, and follow plans, specifications, and other contract documents.
  • Problem solve and provide solutions to common jobsite issues.
  • Communicate well with others on the jobsite both verbally and using hand signals.
  • Demonstrate a continuous effort to improve operations, streamline work processes, and work cooperatively and jointly to provide a quality customer service.

  • Measure, cut, and tie reinforcing steel bars prior to concrete placement.
  • Problem solve and provide solutions to common jobsite issues.
  • Communicate well with others on the jobsite both verbally and using hand signals.
  • Demonstrate a continuous effort to improve operations, streamline work processes, and work cooperatively and jointly to provide a quality customer service.
